Expelling poison; antidotal; sudorific; that has the quality of expelling poison or infection by sweat.
ALEXIPH'ARMIC, noun A medicine that is intended to obviate the effects of poison; an antidote to poison or infection. By the Greeks, the word was used for an amulet.
