UN'DERWORK, noun Subordinate work; petty affairs.
UNDERWORK', verb transitive
1. To destroy by clandestine measures.
2. To work or labor upon less than is sufficient or proper.
3. To work at a less price than others in the like employment; as, one mason may underwork another; a shoemaker cannot underwork a joiner.
