Mat 3:1  In those days came JohnG2491 the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

Mat 3:4  And the same JohnG2491 had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.

Mat 3:13  ¶ Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto JohnG2491, to be baptized of him.

Mat 3:14  But JohnG2491 forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

Mat 4:12  ¶ Now when Jesus had heard that JohnG2491 was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

Mat 4:21  And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and JohnG2491 his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

Mat 11:2  Now when JohnG2491 had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

Mat 11:7  ¶ And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning JohnG2491, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

Mat 11:11  Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than JohnG2491 the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Mat 11:12  And from the days of JohnG2491 the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Mat 11:13  For all the prophets and the law prophesied until JohnG2491.

Mat 11:18  For JohnG2491 came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.

Mat 14:2  And said unto his servants, This is JohnG2491 the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

Mat 14:3  ¶ For Herod had laid hold on JohnG2491, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

Mat 14:4  For JohnG2491 said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

Mat 14:8  And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here JohnG2491 Baptist's head in a charger.

Mat 14:10  And he sent, and beheaded JohnG2491 in the prison.

Mat 16:14  And they said, Some say that thou art JohnG2491 the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

Mat 21:32  For JohnG2491 came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

Mar 3:17  And James the son of Zebedee, and JohnG2491 the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

Mar 5:37  And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and JohnG2491 the brother of James.
