Ezr 4:11  ¶ ThisH1836 is the copy of the letter that they sent unto him, even unto Artaxerxes the king; Thy servants the men on this side the river, and at such a time.

Ezr 4:14  Now because we have maintenance from the king's palace, and it was not meet for us to see the king's dishonour, thereforeH1836 have we sent and certified the king; ^▼

Ezr 4:15  That search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and that they have moved sedition within the same of old time: for whichH1836 cause was this city destroyed. ^{▼ ▼}

Ezr 4:16  We certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by thisH1836 means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river.

Ezr 4:22  Take heed now that ye fail not to do thisH1836: why should damage grow to the hurt of the kings?

Ezr 5:3  ¶ At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shethar-boznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build thisH1836 house, and to make up thisH1836 wall?

Ezr 5:4  Then said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make thisH1836 building? ^▼

Ezr 5:5  But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning thisH1836 matter.

Ezr 5:7  They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thusH1836; Unto Darius the king, all peace. ^▼

Ezr 5:9  Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build thisH1836 house, and to make up theseH1836 walls?

Ezr 5:11  And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded theseH1836 many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.

Ezr 5:12  But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed thisH1836 house, and carried the people away into Babylon.

Ezr 5:13  But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build thisH1836 house of God.

Ezr 5:17  Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king's treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matterH1836.

Ezr 6:11  Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter thisH1836 word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for thisH1836. ^▼

Ezr 6:15  And thisH1836 house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.

Ezr 6:16  ¶ And the children of Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of thisH1836 house of God with joy, ^▼

Ezr 6:17  And offered at the dedication of thisH1836 house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, four hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.

Ezr 7:17  That thou mayest buy speedily with thisH1836 money bullocks, rams, lambs, with their meat offerings and their drink offerings, and offer them upon the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.

Ezr 7:24  Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of thisH1836 house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them.

Jer 10:11  ThusH1836 shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

Dan 2:10  ¶ The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked suchH1836 things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

Dan 2:28  But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are theseH1836; ^▼

Dan 2:29  As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafterH1836: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass. ^▼

Dan 2:30  But as for me, thisH1836 secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart. ^▼

Dan 2:36  ¶ ThisH1836 is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.

Dan 2:43  And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave oneH1836 to anotherH1836, even as iron is not mixed with clay. ^▼

Dan 2:45  Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafterH1836: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. ^{▼ ▼}

Dan 2:47  The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal thisH1836 secret.

Dan 3:7  ThereforeH1836 at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Dan 3:8  ¶ Wherefore at thatH1836 time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Dan 3:16  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in thisH1836 matter.

Dan 3:22  Therefore becauseH1836 the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. ^{▼ ▼}
