2Ki 16:20  And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and HezekiahH2396 his son reigned in his stead.

2Ki 18:1  Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that HezekiahH2396 the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign. ^▼

2Ki 18:9  ¶ And it came to pass in the fourth year of king HezekiahH2396, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.

2Ki 18:10  And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of HezekiahH2396, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.

2Ki 18:13  ¶ Now in the fourteenth year of king HezekiahH2396 did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them. ^▼

2Ki 18:14  And HezekiahH2396 king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto HezekiahH2396 king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.

2Ki 18:15  And HezekiahH2396 gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king's house.

2Ki 18:16  At that time did HezekiahH2396 cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of the LORD, and from the pillars which HezekiahH2396 king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria. ^▼

2Ki 18:17  ¶ And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rabshakeh from Lachish to king HezekiahH2396 with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller's field. ^▼

2Ki 18:19  And Rabshakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to HezekiahH2396, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?

2Ki 18:22  But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars HezekiahH2396 hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?

2Ki 18:29  Thus saith the king, Let not HezekiahH2396 deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand:

2Ki 18:30  Neither let HezekiahH2396 make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

2Ki 18:31  Hearken not to HezekiahH2396: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern: ^{▼ ▼}

2Ki 18:32  Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto HezekiahH2396, when he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us. ^▼

2Ki 18:37  Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to HezekiahH2396 with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.

2Ki 19:1  And it came to pass, when king HezekiahH2396 heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.

2Ki 19:3  And they said unto him, Thus saith HezekiahH2396, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth. ^▼

2Ki 19:5  So the servants of king HezekiahH2396 came to Isaiah.

2Ki 19:9  And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent messengers again unto HezekiahH2396, saying,

2Ki 19:10  Thus shall ye speak to HezekiahH2396 king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

2Ki 19:14  ¶ And HezekiahH2396 received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and HezekiahH2396 went up into the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.

2Ki 19:15  And HezekiahH2396 prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

2Ki 19:20  ¶ Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to HezekiahH2396, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, That which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

2Ki 20:1  In those days was HezekiahH2396 sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. ^▼

2Ki 20:3  I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And HezekiahH2396 wept sore. ^▼

2Ki 20:5  Turn again, and tell HezekiahH2396 the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

2Ki 20:8  ¶ And HezekiahH2396 said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?

2Ki 20:12  ¶ At that time Berodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto HezekiahH2396: for he had heard that HezekiahH2396 had been sick. ^▼

2Ki 20:13  And HezekiahH2396 hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that HezekiahH2396 shewed them not. ^{▼ ▼}

2Ki 20:14  ¶ Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king HezekiahH2396, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And HezekiahH2396 said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

2Ki 20:15  And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And HezekiahH2396 answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

2Ki 20:16  And Isaiah said unto HezekiahH2396, Hear the word of the LORD.

2Ki 20:19  Then said HezekiahH2396 unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days? ^▼
