A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dryH6723 and thirsty land, where no water is; ▼▼
Isa 41:18I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dryH6723 land springs of water.
Isa 53:2For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dryH6723 ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Jer 2:6Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of droughtH6723, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?
Jer 50:12Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry landH6723, and a desert.
Hos 2:3Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dryH6723 land, and slay her with thirst.
Joe 2:20But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barrenH6723 and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. ▼
